• just testing this out - might end up adjusting the formatting
• update to earlier: i think i've got the css about where i want it now
• the "time elapsed" sections on the past couple posts have been a bit fudged because i usually am not expecting them to end up as blog posts at their genesis (and so have not been checking the time when starting). in a way i guess the more arbitrary they are, the less self-conscious the posts will end up being
• i was initially thinking it would be fine to wipe the slate on this section every month, but it may need to be a weekly thing
• currently looking into "break rooms"
• i don't really care much about "win conditions" in grand strategy games. i have more fun with a whimsical playstyle
• i've sort of trapped myself out of my black mesa playthrough because i saved right before the final phase of the gonarch fight and i really don't want to open the game to a boss fight
• i decided today that the page for /writing.html is going to be rewritten whenever i can find it in me
• i can't imagine what someone who only follows this blog must think of me
• one of life's simple joys is getting to "and one day it'll be YOU" someone
• the death of an artist always gives their work a slightly haunted quality but i think this is especially the case with mimi parker. her vocals on double negative now sound as if she's literally calling from beyond the pale
• i've been called "eclectic" no less than 3 times in the past week
